The National Association of Flower Arrangement Societies is made up of flower arranging clubs and societies with approximately 100,000 members. Divided into 21 areas, one being the London and Overseas Area to which Orpington Floral Art Society is affiliated.
Founded in 1959 NAFAS was granted charitable status in 1984 in recognition of its educational work. Training judges, demonstrators, teachers and speakers who in turn pass on these skills to students and flower club members.
